All that's true …. and really great numbers , but being what stands out to most people are negatives and right now he's ice cold from 3 point range , it doesn't help that he takes so many either. He was shooting .394 from 3 point distance in preseason …. It's just a slump and I expect him to get it going from 3 point land sooner than later.
James just please stop jacking so many threes off the dribble. It’s ridiculous the percent of his shots are from outside when he gets to the basket at will.
13 3 pt attempts per game same as last year vs 22 drives per game he's actually driving more than shooting 3s
As he should...it’s still too much. It was too much last year. Dribble dribble dribble jack up a step back when the shot clock is running out. We can’t win in the playoffs with that garbage. So far westbrook has improved his shot selection. It’s time for James to do the same. A little goes a long way

No one is crying. And yes It was mentioned by myself and many others we can’t win that way, specifically in the playoffs. With Westbrook our offense is no longer stagnant. He does not need to spam threes off the dribble constantly. If we expect Westbrook to play smarter, why shouldn’t the expectation be the same for James ? No reason to keep doing the same things that aren’t working.
so hitting threes at 37% clip ain't working? if a shooter misses a three he should stop shooting like Ryan Anderson? we got to the playoffs last year mainly because of harden and his 5 made threes and 20 drives per game quit whining

Btw Game 1 loss 15% Game 2 win 28% Game 3 win 38% 2-1 with harden ego and the rest of the team's terrible shooting but sure to go back to shooting career averages
You are totally missing the point here. It is not smart to shoot 3s when you shoot them below 30%. If a player, like Westbrook, shoots contested 3s below 30%, it is smart for that player to stop. Harden hit his stepback over 40% last year. If a player is hitting 3s at 40%, it would not be smart to stop taking them. Taking 13 3s a game is playing smart.
But he hasn't been able to shoot 37% in the playoffs since 2015. So that's why people would prefer he take more shots at the rim or even mid-range
