    Thanks! As a father of two, I guess this was/is my day (ain't over yet!). The offspring and their Mom took me to brunch, gave me groovy presents, and have let me do pretty much what I've wanted to do today. Except for seeing the last episode of this season's Game of Thrones, which I have recorded on two DVRs, and a more intimate "thank you" from my S.O., which awaits me a bit later (she said I could wake her up, just in case she's passed out while reading her mystery novel).

    Yeah, being a Dad can be a groovy thing. I had my morning coffee from a "World's Greatest Dad" mug that's over 15 years old. Early morning donuts from my favorite bakery. Heck, I'm still around. Life isn't half bad.
