Seriously - could he make this season worse than it already has been? Assuming Smith originally left us whilst Morey was tying up the KJ contract, doesn't he at least deserve a shot? He might surprise a lot of people! Otherwise Morey - just trade him.
I'd play Clyde over Brewer at this point. Brewer doesn't do anything McDaniels can't do. Just tell McDaniels to recklessly attack the basket when he gets the ball in transition + stand in the corner to hit 30% of his 3's the rest of the time + go for the steal even if it's an idiotic moment to do so. Laughing with the ref about his most recent stupid foul is a bonus. Same results IMO, but with McDaniels there's a possibility we end up with a Corey Brewer for $3m instead of $8m.
I would love if KJ got all of Brewers minutes & Brewer/Jones were traded for Troy Daniels Lawson/Bev/Terry Harden/Thornton/Daniels Ariza/KJ/Dekker DMo/Smith/Harrell Dwight/Capela Super young team that has potential to grow into something elite with a good balance of vets
Kj mcdaniels is the new terrance williams. Fans think hes good cuz he jumps high but coaches dont seem to think he can ball.
I'm happy for him for his new child and birthday! I do think he is a massive knucklehead though. If they had a stat for mistakes per minute McKnucklehead would win hands down.
I always feel bad for people who have birthdays within the same week of another family member or close to Christmas. Someone always feels shortchanged...
He did start a game last year and played 15 minutes. ...and somehow played 20 minutes in Game 1 last year against the Warriors shooting 2 for 9.
