Ironically, GW Bush almost won New Mexico due to manual hand-counting. From MSNBC: After the election Tuesday night, Gore unofficially led by 6,825 votes. But Bush crept up as votes from Bernalillo, the state’s largest county, were tabulated, and he edged ahead thanks mainly to a manual count of ballots that were damaged in some way and were not counted last Tuesday night. Unfortunately for him, more ballots were found and Gore now leads by a few hundred votes again. What a mess. ------------------ Is it any coincidence that the Cato is the only Rocket with a temperature scale named after him? I didnt think so!!!!
