Hakeem is arguably the greatest playoff performer ever. He features a lovely increase in production over the regular season.
Thanks for this tinman. People tend to forget that Dream beat an all time great team with multiple all time great players in just his 2nd year. Boston was too much for us. Lucas could have changed the finals outcome but no excuses. I do consider that to be the “lost Rockets team” that no one talks about. I believe he is also the only player in nba history to win a ring(94) with teammates who never made an all star team in their career. Am I missing anyone else?
Thorpe was an all-star for the Rockets in 91-92. Cassell also made an all star team well after he left Houston (2003-04 with Minnesota). Still, winning a championship without another bonafide star was an incredible feat.
you are wrong about 1994. Otis Thorpe made the All Star team and Sam Cassell did with the Clippers (however he was a top point guard for many years) OT never got credit cause he was so humble . Dude played like 500 games in a row. In 1995, Drexler obviously was an Allstar many times and nba legend
Fun video. But dude definitely didn't want to touch the possibility that the league conspired against us to get half our team banned for cocaine so that they could continue to have Lakers/Celtics Finals appearances.
I forgot all about Thorpe making the all star team. Cassell was great but I never saw him as an all star. Good stuff.
The local drug dealers conspired against us. Crack/Coke hurt several nba teams in the 80’s, but I think we were hit the hardest.
Wait the world is still talking about people who started religions thousands of years ago It should be fine to retell a story that's just as good as those Clutch City til the end of the days
