Who could stop him in today's NBA? Seriously, Draymond Green? Dream would eat Dwight's lunch. He'd be too strong for Anthony Davis and too quick for Boogie. Too quick for Gasol, too. Too smart for DeAndre Jordan and WAY too smart for Hassan Whiteside. Rudy Gobert might give him a challenge based solely on height, but he'd be no match for Dream's absurd quickness. Dream would feast on today's NBA centers.

He doesn’t have the size. So, now what do they do? Guard with two or three guys, double-team. Then you swing it around to shoot threes.” Draymond Green American basketball player Draymond Jamal Green Sr. is an American professional basketball player for the Golden State Warriors of the National Basketball Association. Note to idiot newbs who joined in 2016 to troll Clutchfans, This dude @Clutch is the biggest Dream fan on the planet, he can delete your account Watch what you say about Dream here 5 Thoughts After Witnessing Hakeem The Dream Play Once Again AUGUST 1, 2015 5:47 PM 12 By Clutch132 Comments By now, you’ve seen the clip. Hakeem Olajuwon surprisingly made an appearance in today’s NBA Africa Game in Johannesburg and he didn’t disappoint. The Dream, at 52 years old, showed that he’s still got that otherworldly footwork, putting Nicola Vucevic in the spin machine and hitting a 13-foot fadeaway jumper. http://rockets.clutchfans.net/9114/5-thoughts-hakeem-olajuwon-nba-africa/ 4. Can Any Big Man in Today’s NBA pull off this move? Seriously. Who could pull this off? I know the defense being played here is at an All-Star game low, but I can’t think of a big man today who can execute this type of spin, twist, dance and fade move. You would have to be a strong post threat yet possess expert footwork, balletic moves and soft outside touch. That player doesn’t exist.
Hakeem is a great player, no doubt, but IMHO MJ is better, if MJ did not retire, Houston might still be without championships now, i don't care what people argue or say, too bad we can't change history, i would love to see a prime MJ led bulls team go against the 93/94 rockets
Jordan and the Bulls had a losing record against the Rockets in the early 90s, Hakeem dominated. These were regular season games, that's the only games you will ever have and we dominated them. This was before Sam Cassell too. I'm not saying this because I'm a Rockets fan, I'm saying this cause I saw this happen Ask anyone who grew up in that era in Houston
Haha, exactly!! I might have been a bit too conservative on the 35+, it'd probably be more. He was so dominant! Lol, Draymond would be screwed
ask golden state who win 73 games last year in the regular season, who won twice against Cleveland last year, does regular season matter?
Teams temporarily tried to guard Hakeem with good PFs (Rodman, Webber, Mason) and it didn't work at all. But then nothing really worked.
That has nothing to do with a series that will never happen. You are arguing a hypothetical situation. They will never face off. The only time they faced off was in the regular season. Hakeem dominated the Bulls through several versions of the Rockets. When we had Ralph Sampson, when we had Otis Thorpe, when we had Robert Horry. And even the Bulls fans know that Dream dominated their front line. Jordan didn't dominate the Rockets, he was below his average in scoring against us. Again, I witnessed this. Plus I was rooting for Jordan in 95 to face us , but we got Orlando instead. Further proof that the Bulls front line was not very good (no Rodman) and got man handled by Shaq. I take Dream all day every Day. I'm from Houston and this is Clutch City. NOBODY WILL INVALIDATE OUR CHAMPIONSHIPS OR SHOULD. ESPECIALLY IF THEY ARE MEMBERS OF A SITE CALLED CLUTCHFANS
great video! hakeem was amazing. however, we never played the bulls in the finals so we don't know if we would have beaten them or not. i hope so and think so! we can only guess. it would have been a fantastic matchup for sure though.
Anthony Mason was a better defender than Draymond Green. Remember that Dream played against some trees and he wasn't the tree that others were. Hakeem schooled guys like Shawn Bradley even when he was young and could still move well. Gobert wouldn't stand a chance. Joel Embiid would be interesting because he studied his moves, but I still gather it would be stupid. The only thing I'd point out is that Embiid could and would draw him out of the paint, so his help defense might be minimized like it was against Perkins/Sonics. Watch as Hakeem smiles at the stupid future Gobert because he showed height means nothing to Hakeem. He owns the tall, he swats the small, he answers the playoff call because he's the greatest of all.
He doesn't feed off the past. He lives there. He is literally communicating with us from the other side of a worm hole in 1995. He will always live in 1995. Forever. And there is nothing wrong with that.
I'm from the Future and I'm going to tell you right now Hakeem Olajuwon is still the only Rockets player to win 2 Finals MVP , 2 championships, 1 MVP, 1 defensive player of the year award for the Rockets in 2 years. I'm talking about when the machines take over humans future.
We should never have any non believers on a Rockets board. I'm sure there's no Lakers fans questioning if the Celtics would have beat them if some random scenario happened in the 80s that's why Rudy T said there are NON BELIEVERS, we are here to DESTROY ALL OF THE NON BELIEVERS
If you don't think Hakeem would have steamrolled those Bulls even with MJ, you need to have your member status revoked You don't have Clutch City in your hearts
