YES, Hakeem is hands down the 2nd best post player in the West, behind TImmy Duncan.

Shaquille has no post moves, he just plops his fat ass (I love him, he is from Texas) down and either turns and shot puts it in, or he dunks......

David Robinson, is a great face up shooter, um....

KG, will be bad ass once he reaches the 150 mark....

so yeah Hakeem has 2nd all to himself

BAND WAGONEERS LIVE ON, and I See Francis 33 is definitely President of that club

    BOOOOOOOOOOO!

Are you making fun of someone else's post? Do I detect a note or sarcasm?
    Where am I?
Who is this girl laying next to me?
    Where is MY girlfriend?

    Huh?

    Right.

Did I just quote the Duke? Oh Lord!

From the games I've seen, Shaq, Rasheed, Webber, David Robinson, Garnett, and others all have much better post games than the CURRENT Hakeem. And I have seen a whole lot. There isn't hardly anyone on this board or in the world that I think would agree with you that the current Hakeem has a better post game than those players.

Nah you and I can be on the same team here, if ya work with me a little...........

What about Karl Malone? I hate him but his turn around fadeaway is the sweetest. What about Chris webber? What about Rasheed? It seems that you are here merely to ruffle feathers with this asinine topic.

we are getting off the topic of b-ball folks, adn pilgrims..

Basically we need Walt and TOny M. and Bullard outta here, that would allow us to pick up Rashard and maybe even Bo OUtlaw ..

IF Rashard really wanted to come here, couldn't he accept less money to come here, now this is a question, so just lets get to basketball and no more bashing......

    :^)

Karl Malone has 1 good move.

kinda like Horry, so maybe he should be thrown in there as well.

Hey Shaquille is the supreme post player then for sure.

NAH, Hakeem has way more than 1 move

    peace

Yeah, his favorite one right now is the one where he places his hands on his knees sucking wind while the guy he just fouled is shooting free throws. Wait, that is how he defends the post - my bad.

I love Dream but to say he is playing at the level of some of these young guys is ludicrous. To Dippity, or whatever, it is the number of moves that indicates how great of a post player he is. Isn't it the percentage of effectiveness of that particular post play/player that should instead be the indicator. Was Hakeem one of the greatest of all time in the post? Absolutely! Is he 2nd best in the conference this coming season? Please! I'd like nothing more to be wrong on this one, but he is not even close to being the 2nd best.

well, no one can predict the future, so if dream can become a great player again or not remains to be seen, but you always want to look at the glass half full dont you?

The glass being half full philosophy is a great outlook for life and not so much for competitive sports. That philosophy can catch you flat footed and unprepared. Nothing would make me happier than a dominant Hakeem but to just blindly expect it is not realistic.
