I made this to show how players have been impacting the Rockets, since so many people have been throwing out isolated stats here and there and I wanted to show the full picture. What I want to highlight -- while there are newcomers like MCW and Melo who appear to be negative players for the Rockets, Chris Paul is the second most negative player on the team so far next to Zhou Qi. Is that because Chris Paul a bad player? Or is it just a small sample size not representative of the player overall? Also -- the only two players who have net positive effects on offense and defense are Gerald Green and James Ennis. Surprising on the defensive end for Green and Ennis on offense (Ennis has been mostly a train wreck individually on offense). In conclusion, I'd stop paying attention to these kidns of stats early in the season. It could just be indicative of fluky things like someone hitting 80% of their 3's while they're on the court or something else not sustainable over a larger sample.
