Hopefully the many people on this board who complain about how "ANALYTICS DON'T WORK", while not understanding how analytics is used in game-planning are reading this.
One of the things I love about Morey's approach is that it's the same thing Rudy T did with his Rockets teams intuitively 20 years ago. He played a roster of Olajuwon in the low post and a bunch of 3-point shooters. The only difference is that Rudy T probably didn't take it as far as he should have.
Rudy had the added benefit of coaching during the era of illegal defense. That made the inside-out offense even deadlier back then.
