    I'm confused...

    What does Linsanity have to do with this guy?

    Are they making it seem as though Asians are going to be ever so scrutinized as they go further into HS, college, etc?

    They brought up Linsanity because even before that happened, Chris was playing well before that in high school. Keep in mind, this was in Virginia, not like CA where Lin grew up, so probably even less Asians playing basketball. By that time, most people never even heard of a Chinese/Asian player besides Yao.

    What the video is probably ultimately trying to address is the inevitable comparisons that he'll get to Jeremy Lin, since they're both Asian and guards. Even though they both have very different paths.
