Just saw Giannis comments before tonight's game. "MVP should go to whoever wins the most"

Then why the **** wasn't Harden the MVP when Westbrook won that year? FOH Giannis, don't see you b****ing about Westbrook winning that year.

Two guys with no votes. Doesn’t matter.

Fair point. Also noteworthy that 2 guys that actually played the game picked him. Unlike SAS, Kellerman or that Yahoo corn dog, whose name wasn't worth remembering

Grant Hill or Steve Smith? It's Steve Smith.

Yeah, I confuse Smith & Hill as well.

Harden could lose it tonight or win it, right now, he is losing it.

Harden just lost the MVP - this was a stinker of a performance against Giannis

Agreed mvp discussion is over... forget it.. worry about the playoffs... unless he can pull a miracle in the 4th quarter..

For those of you that care about MVP...

Harden will most likely end up losing it because of this game.

While neither had an outstanding game, it hurts Harden more because the perception of him being an unstoppable scorer while carrying the team, which was his selling point, takes a major hit this game, with all eyes on him.

Maybe unfair but thats the way the cookie crumbles.

And he also lost the 2nd seed with this performance.

That's a back-handed insult to the rest of his team. The Bucks are a great team, coached by probably the coach of the year. He wouldn't be in the conversation without those two things.

You guys say it’s a backhanded insult but we said the same exact thing the entire Westbrook run.

I guess as much as I love harden I just don’t care as much about an award that’s out of our control.

And if he does win, and then doesn’t perform well in the playoffs I hope you guys are ready for what comes next.

We said it, sure. But the player saying it is a dick move. What probably would have cemented more MVP votes for him is saying some humble stuff like 'I wouldn't be where I am without my teammates'.

Interesting that he would say that...you could infer that he said it because he doesn't think his merits stand on their own, compared with Harden's.

FWIW...they don't. Giannis is having a GREAT year (and Bucks are doing Great as well), but Harden is having a HISTORIC year. Historic>>Great.

ie, Harden is doing things this year that haven't been done before (and single handedly carrying his team in the process). What has Giannis been doing that has never been done before? (Hint: nothing)
