    That's so sad.

I so wanted him to say, "You were the doggone sturdiest Jazz player ever." But "It was nice rapping about you....You were the best damn 2K player as a Jazz, and I mean it." was a good consolation.

Why? Sure wouldn't hurt to replace the bulldog mentality we lost from PatBev

Not really a fan of his and we need more help at PF than at guard.

He's very inefficient and makes too many dumb decisions. Not quite a head case, but close enough.

Such a missed opportunity to troll Celtics fans.
    That's the biggest shame here.

Other than that there's nothing to be scared of a team that is about to be locked in a treadmilling core. Not one superstar. There will be 4 20+ mil per next year.

They are actually one Lebron injury away from being in the Finals.

Glad someone in the west got worse. Added bonus that it's the Jazz lol.

    Good signing for Boston.

likely a nice bonus each time just for doing so. it would be extremely difficult for him to make it in the west now that pg13 and butler joined in the already stacked west

IMO if the Cavs don't improve, even if healthy, they will struggle to beat the Celtics. I don't doubt that the Cavs have superior talent at the top, but the Celtics are a great team, a well coached team, incredible depth, and lots of possibilities for players who can have a breakout year.

Honestly my opinion of the Cavs sank tremendously when I watched the Finals. Lue would be outclassed by any of the top coaches easily, and the Cavs do not maximize their talent by playing good basketball. Irving needs to improve, it is about the time where his development into a mature star player would help Lebron a bit more.

The Celtics imo are about to remind people that the team with the most stars doesn't always win. The Warriors are not just a bunch of stars, they are a bunch of stars who are well coached and function well as a team.

oh yes yes. Like they were the year before. Like Toronto was the year before that. Like Atlanta was the year before before that. Like Indiana was the year before before before that. And so on and so on.

They have Hayward and probably will target a good Center, even Marc G. No?

They are the next best team behind the Cavs, even without actual superstars they are set to contend for a few more years, granted that no either East rises up.

if your ceiling is only the ECF is that contending? If you have no way of ever beating whoever comes out of the West , because you are the 6-7th best team in the NBA is that contending?
Also I seriously doubt the "few more years" aspect of this, since Horford is already 31 and IT is about to be 29. Yes for most nba players 29 is prime..but history has shown that midgets pgs who depend on their quickness to be effective, age sooner than other players.

We will see. I for one don't see them as championship contenders at all.
