Republicans don't want to accept responsibility for voting for Trump and now they want to blame the Dems for their mistake. Sounds familiar.

During the campaign, Trump had frequently accused Hillary of being beholden to Wall Street. Trump's administration will have at least 5 former Goldman Sachs big wigs; one of them is Steven Mnuchin, Donald's pick to head the Treasury.

Mnuchin, a billionaire, had profited handsomely from the most recent foreclosure crisis.
it has been reported that the Treasury nominee had failed to disclose his interests in a Cayman Islands corporation as well as more than $100 million in personal assets

Like I said before uninformed voters will be the down fall of democracy. Say what you will about the poster in this forum, at least they are informed on many issues, you can not say that for majority of the voters in this country.

I was listening to NPR on Tuesday afternoon and they returned to a county in North Carolina that went overwhelmingly for trump: rural, majority white by a large margin. Familiar tropes of self reliance, government is on our backs, etc. The farm owner being interviewed seriously made the argument that it's good that trump will enrich himself through conflicts of interest and that if his business holdings do well then that means the farmers/American workers will be doing well. Its not possible to turn around that level of cognitive dissonance.

LOL - they want to AVOID Ethics reviews?

WTF ever happened to the Republican party? I thought they were conservatives, who stood for honor and integrity, and moral values.

How did they manage to toss all of that away?

Yup, the American workers are doing extremely well now as the top .1% have been doing extremely well. Logic is not being used when people like this talks.

Did we know that when Trump promised to drain the swamp he intended to dump what he drained into his own cabinet?
