Hmm, maybe McHale shouldn't have benched himself.

This should have been Adelman's shot to guide the Lakers to the championship and to ride off into the sunset as one of the best coaches of all time.

It was a bizarre choice to hire brown then and I'll be surprised if he makes it through the season.

    Fail

Mike Brown was an NBA champion with Spurs as an assistant coach back in 2003

If Spoelstra can coach the Heat to a championship... c'mon man.

If Lebron can win 60+ games with Brown as a head coach... c'mon man

I think Kobe has played for PHil Jackson for so long and only won under him, he's getting spoiled.

Not that I'm a Mike Brown fan or anything (quite the opposite in fact), but you do understand that Mike Brown was an assistant coach with the Spurs when they won their championship in 2003, right? He has a ring. Albeit, not as a head coach, but he's been with a championship team before.

Yea, LA screwed it up pretty good there. I still remember thinking "WTF!?" When it was announced LA hired Brown.

You really think the Lakers' struggles is all on MIke Brown? Watch them again.

    Can't make free throws - 66% - #28 in the league
Turn the ball over like JV kids - 19 a game, #28 in the league
Can't defend (which Mike Brown is a specialist at) - 45% fg allowed #20

Mike Brown won with one elite player and a bunch of average players. The Lakers have AT LEAST 2 elite players and still can't win vs average teams??? C'mon now.

I'm not blaming Kobe, but as the leader of that team, if he's mad at Brown, he has problems.

Wasn't Kobe the one who had 6 turnovers last night? And wasn't he the one who seconded Mike Brown implementing the Princeton?

It was definitely a WTF move, and I automatically assumed he was Kobe's guy. How else could they possibly justify it?

Definitely a WTF moment of the year when they decided to hire Mike Brown. They should have hired Adelman and Kobe should have pushed for it as well. Adelman deserved a chance to win it all and he is superior to Mike Brown in every aspect of the game. You can't convince me that Mike Brown has better credentials than Rick Adelman. No way.

I think he was still because there was a blonde girl in the crowd talking to a cop and pointing at him while she talked... **where do I look? where do I look...? act natural, act natural**
"and then he choked me and..."
"Uh-huh... yeah... [writing notes] go on... and... ok... I'll wait until he finishes this game... uh-huh... [writing] continue..."

OMG... that GIF is just screaming for

    1. Their players don't fit the princeton offense
    2. They're still in the learning/sucking phase of that offense
    3. Mike Brown, not Rick Adelman, is teaching it to them

Sounds like a recipe for failure to me.
