No, it turns them all off. Problem is there’s no other way to perform the moves you’re talking about.

I’ve been playing in handheld mode without the motion controls and it plays just fine.

The game says that exactly on the load screen. Handheld gives you a couple of extra options on. Motion control. But can play with all kinds of controllers.

We’re using pro controllers. Use that for everything. Hate handhelds too.

    Game is really reallly great

Got me.... i get last straw in my house. I have two kids and my wife playing ahead of me, lol.
That's alright, I'll just watch football.

I've had the opportunity to play a few boards mainly as cappy. Just really great and creative.

I really wish the Switch had better activity tracking. It feel like I played 12+ hours of Mario this weekend, but I'm not really sure.

I'm at Bowser's Kingdom, which I'm guessing is the final kingdom. I hope that the post-story content will continue to keep me interested, because less than a week of entertainment for a AAA title would be very disappointing. Much like with BoTW and its Korok seeds, though, I'm pretty entertained with just exploring the areas looking for those Power Moons and area-specific coins. So I think I'll continue to enjoy that part for a while.

I think my only complaints are 1) certain moves can only be done with the motion controls and 2) the boss battles are extremely easy and quick.

instead of racing through it, why don't you try and find every moon before moving on to the next kingdom? game will last you forever.

I'm not racing through it. I already have 205 moons as of last night. And trying to find every moon before moving on to the next kingdom would definitely get me burnt out on each kingdom. I like to find a bunch at a time, then move to a different kingdom and do the same thing. That way, I will still have a reason and a desire to return to those older kingdoms after I beat Bowser.

yeah i just found out that it's not even possible. i was stuck at 12 in cap kingdom, and had to find out on the web that you can't even get 13+ until doing some other stuff in the game, then coming back, apparently.

i like trying to figure out stuff on my own, but i guess that's impossible to do nowadays. need to use some sort of online assistance at times i guess. was wracking my brain trying to figure out what to do with the mushroom guy atop the tower staring at the moon, while the answer i guess was "nothing".

I'm getting at least double the necessary moons at each kingdom. I'm at bowser's kingdom now. I'll be going back to each one later on to get more moons though. Doubt I'll get close to 100% though. My wife keeps stealing my swith for Stardew Valley, gonna have to start hiding it.

900+ power moons in the entire game. I probably won't ever get all of them unless I look up a game guide online.

900 moons. So technically if you haven't gotten all the moons you haven't beaten tthe game yet. Nerds complaining about it being too quick of a gameplay, well? Get your ass moving and find all those moons then, LMAO.

I was hoping there would be a Switch deal for Black Friday, but of all the ads leaked so far, Switch is still sitting pretty at $300. womp womp

It's selling too well for any Black Friday deals. You basically can't even find deals on the games either, pretty crazy.

jeez. i finished the actual game with 409. went through each world trying to find as many as i could within reason before moving on. not sure how many finishing the game/having to break open the moon blocks adds.

game is pretty incredible. addicting as hell.

All the 900 moons Mario talk has me thinking about the very last 2 levels on Mario 3D world that I never beat

Has anyone completed 100% of BoW? I haven’t played in a few months. I beat the game but I’m only at about 15% completion.
