    Thursday, 7pm central
    TV: Fox Sports Net

On Thursday night, Rice (and its security detail) will travel to the Third Ward to take on the Coogs for a night game. Rice has won two of the last 3 of this series, including last season's victory with Rice's starting quarterback out. So Rice is definitely in the Coogs' heads. Will they spoil the Coogs' chance at an undefeated season? Rice has some key injuries that could be troubling. If Rice had everyone healthy, I think Rice's mental edge would put them over the top, but now I'm less certain.

    Discuss.

I'm assuming there will be no Owls fan there, because it's being played at Houston, at night.

Hopefully, Owl Fans go to the game..

So I can break into their cars while they're at the game.

Houston is undefeated at home in 2011 & have outscored their last 3 opps 175-31 inside Robertson Stadium, average score of 58.3-to-10.3.

So how many points are the undefeated, 18th ranked Houston Cougars favored by?

If bigtexxx's balls happen to drop and he shows up at the game, look for him in the opposing team section.

This entire post is full of hilarious little quips, but the bold statement really takes the cake. Bravo.

This game thread sucks. Where is the #18 ranking? Spread? Etc. But I wouldn't expect anything less from an owl.

Go ahead and make another one so the mods can flush this turd of a thread down the toilet.

I'll be there. One of the few college football games I'll go to.

This...is not going to be fun.

    Prediction:
    UH - 56
    Rice - 20

The Rice players are probably looking forward to getting this over with as quickly as possible. Lucky for them, no Rice fans will be watching. Keenum is on pace to break the all-time touchdown record on Thursday, and there's not a lot of doubt who'll be hoisting the bucket after the game.

I'm expecting this game to be a lot like 2009, given that our offense is pretty much the same it was back then.

I think it's just hysterical that bigtexxx thinks Robertson Stadium is a scary place. My 70 year old mom takes in a few games a year ditto my friends and their toddler.

The only scary part is the whipping that Case will put on the Owlets.

    Houston 73 Rice 10

Let's not forget about the thuggery that is rampant in the Rice football program, or that the crime per student ratio at Rice is nearly 6 times higher than that at UH. When I go for my weekly runs through Hermann, I have to be sure to conceal my valuables anytime I get near their campus.
