CHANDLER PARSONS REFERENCE! ...and great turnaround time. I am guessing they had multiple endings ready-to-go.
Sadly they are getting less funny and going for longer episodes (quantity). Of course there was some funny bits, Mavs and goat talk in particular. Divac and Lebron just dragged on for too long. AD reading about himself was funny.
SPOILERS FOR AVENGERS: ENDGAME (do not read further if you haven't seen the movie) I think it was great with lots of details, pacing was a bit off though. That part with old Stevens explaining why Lucky died dragged on a bit. Btw did B/R just do a crossover with Avengers: Endgame and old Capt. America?
This Celtics episode was really bad. I didn’t laugh once. The lottery one was fantastic as was the Rockets one with Melo.
They tend to stretch things out for too long. Earlier seasons had 3-4 minute episodes with often moments from different teams, which makes it easier to deliver a joke and come up with something funny. These longer episodes just focused on one event / team / happening just tend to miss the mark in general. Maybe because we're Rockets fans we got a lot of the jokes, for the Melo episode, which I'm missing here with the Celtics. I really love GoZ, but the quality of jokes really varies from episode to episode and overall have become less funny.
