http://sports.yahoo.com/sow/news?slug=ap-2008euros-espnabc&prov=ap&type=lgns This is awesome, that saves me the almost $200 I paid in 2004.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This friggin rules!!!!!!!!!! No more tape delay!!! I'm wondering what MLS thinks of this?
If they were smart they'd be advertising like crazy during those games. Since ESPN is paying to broadcast MLS now I wouldn't be surprised if that happens. And like insane man said, more exposure for the game in general is better for MLS.
This is awesome!! I just started to get into soccer after watching almost every single game in the world cup and now I am really into it. I used to think soccer was stupid, but now I like it better than baseball, but not as much as football or bball. I've been watching the premiership and champions league lately. I can't wait till Euro 2008. Hey, and anyone watch that Chelsea/Arsenal match yesterday and know why Henry isn't playing? I've heard he's either injured or had a fight with his manager.
HD??? YES, NO? MAYBE? I am thinking of upgrading my DirecTV signal for my HDTV. I got to see at least ONE World Cup game in HD (England/Trinidad). Damn, I hate UNIVISION for not having HD...
oh man, totally awesome news... i got to watch the tourney last year even though i was in freakin afghanistan.. finally america, finally..
Sweeeeet!!! I too spend close to $200 for the Setanta package...I only wish we could get the overseas analysts/broadcaster cause those that did the WC sucked ass...they ware worse than Clyde Drexler is at analyzing the NBA/Rockets.
