I'm a close friend with someone who is friends with a current/former Rockets player from this past season. By the comment made by this player, I'd rather not give his name. Anyway, he specifically stated that things were alright with the team at the beginning of the season (first 3-5 games of the season). After that, things went downhill quickly because James started doing his own thing. With this being said, he mentioned that word is getting around the league about his ways and a lot of players do NOT want to play with James. I'm sure I'm stated the obvious, but this really opened my eyes because this is coming from a player and how its well-known throughout the league. This very well could affect Free agents from coming here. I guess we shall see, but I just wanted to share.
So... — Source of a source: Players don't want to play with James Harden. I'll believe it when the first source of a source comes true. Sounds like source of a source is friends with Jason Terry and/or Dwight Howard. I heard those guys have loose lips.
I don't need your source of a source to tell me this. This was pretty obvious to anyone with some NBA knowledge. This team had deep chemistry issues. Well unless you've completely drowned in the kool aid.
This is a forum where things are sharing. Don't think I'm trying to stir the pot. I'm just sharing a comment from this player. Don't shoot the messenger.
Op thank you, but just tell your friend to stay away from Dwight. Jokes aside i think there's some truth here, Harden was bad for the first part of the season, i mean, really bad...his physical condition, his attitude, everything was just off...and i actually think JB was talking about him and Dwight when he said "We've disrespected the game". But i'm not sure how much those two months will be a neg factor going forward, he played pretty well the rest of the season and overall, for what we know he's still considered unanimously a great player so...we'll see.
