Just thought I would post this in an effort to generate good will on the BBS and bring about a general feeling of happiness and relaxation. Cato 1999-2000 season: Minutes per Game: 24.5 FG%: 53% Rebounds: 6 Blocks: 1.9 Personal Fouls: 2.7 Points: 8.7 Now everyone breathe in deeply and exhale.... Relax. Think happy thoughts. Go eat some ice cream. Hug your kids. Visualize improvement.
Now, if he can give us those stats for 78-82 games instead of 20 games, then maybe we don't need all these other guys like McCoy, White, and Jackson. What am I saying??? We will still need one of those guys because I have a hard time believing that Cato will awake from his hibernation.
Manny... this is an exercise. Everyone together now. AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM...................................... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM...................................... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM...................................... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM...................................... AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMM......................................
OOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM.................. 1.9 BPG OOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM.................. 53% FG% OOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM.................. i'm feeling it!!!!!
You're not imitating Cato when he's on the court? Maybe that's his problem...he's meditating while he's playing!!
Maybe everyone is in panic mode. Maybe Cato just needs to know he's the man at the 5 and they will drown or float with him. I hpes thats the case because the Rockets are in a situation with a new stadium to fill in 2003, that a mediocre team won't do it. Maybe he's just like O' Neal and just needs to show what he can do. Maybe he's just like Elden Campbell and never lives up to the talent, but stays in the league 10-15 yrs. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
Those are pretty reasonable numbers to expect. If you simply take Cato's minutes from 1999-2000 and project his stats for more minutes you get: Minutes per Game: 35 Rebounds: 8.6 Blocks: 2.7 Personal Fouls: 4 Points: 12.4 If we go even further with the projections, taking into account FG% improvement, where Cato has actually done better on a consistent basis: 97 - 43% 98 - 45% 99 - 54% 00 - 58% We can project an even higher point total next year if he is healthy based on a 58% percentage: Points: 13.3 13.3 pts, 8.6 rebs, 2.7 blks - I can see this happening without stretching reality. AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMM..............
Or a cold glass of water. Wait a minute, the guy who would get injured by cold things is gone to a COLD city!!! Talk about ironies of ironies!!!
