I went to Kissimmee, FL for Astros Spring Training last season, when we just got Carlos.

I had just finished my baseball fantasy draft. I had drafted Carlos Lee with like the second or third pick or something.

Anyways, my mother works closely with Astros higher ups, so we were going to get our tickets from one of the execs upstairs before the game. I am used to seeing Drayton, Tal, and then Purpura. I thought that I would not be star struck around the players either. Wrong.

We are walking to the elevator and there is Chris Sampson. Meh. Then I saw Chris Burke standing by me. Little better.

    Oh crap.

Oswalt and Lee are walking right up to me. I almost crapped myself. Roy gives me a nod as I step on the elevator. The doors are about to close then a brown hand sticks through and opens it back up. Carlos got on the elevator with us in full uniform. I was shaking. His ass is the size of a small truck. For some reason my mouth opened and some really dumb words came out . .

    "Uhh . . Mr. Lee?"

    "Hey, what's up?"

"Uhhh . . . I just drafted you to my fantasy baseball team, I hope you have a good season."

He looked at me like I was a r****d with a giant booger on my forehead.

"Ok man, yea thanks. I'll do my best."

My mom made fun of me the rest of the trip.

There is a moral to this story. If you are going to talk to someone cooler than you, make sure you don't talk about fantasy baseball.

    Thank you.

EDIT: I won the league because of Carlos and a few others. So I might not be so weird after all. He might have actually blessed me winning and tried extra hard for me. So now I AM THE BEST AND I WILL FOREVER BE KING.

v3.0, no my mom did not get Worrelified.

I've heard worse. However, none of mlwoo's stories hold a candle to the epic "hotballa colonoscopy" thread.

If I saw Kaz Matsui, I would immediately ask him about his anal fissure.

I try to insult this guy and it backfires.

    It must be a sign.

    All hail mlwoo!
