I think Tauja was a 3rd or 4th round pick by Phoenix last year. Her glaring weakness is that she's not good enough right now. We've aleady has Santos once and we waived her pretty quickly. I don't think Van is interested in her at all. ------------------ The ox is slow but the Earth is patient.
just cuz Van isn't interested doesn't mean the player isn't worth keeping. i mean Alessandra cotributed to the 3rd title about as much as Mila Nikolich did (ie not at all). Van has passed up on: Brandy Reed, Taj McWilliams, Tangela Smith, Sandy Brondello, Rita Williams, Kedra Holland-Corn, Adrienne Goodson, Becky Hammon, Helen Darling, Nikki McCrimmon... I agree though the offense should try to showcase Janeth some more now though. Not saying Tina can't handle being #1 but Janeth is far more used to being "da man" than Tina is at this point in their careers. Maybe get some Brazillian players who know how to play with Janeth. Besides Alessandra, there is Helen Luz, Claudia Maria Das Neves, Cintia Dos Santos, etc. ------------------
