    1.) Miami Heat
    2.) Dallas Mavs
    3.) Phoenix Suns
    4.) S.A. Spurs
    5.) LA Clippers
    6.) Detroit Pistons
    7.) Chicago Bulls
8.) Houston Rockets T-Mac and Yao are healthy and Bonzi is on board. Battier will provide D and shooting. But the bench leaves a lot to be desired.

    9.) Cleveland Cavs
    10.) Sacramento Kings
    11.) New Jersey Nets
    12.) Indiana Pacers
    13.) Denver Nuggets
    14.) Washington Wizards
    15.) LA Lakers
    16.) Utah Jazz
    17.) New Orleans
    18.) Orlando Magic
    19.) Milwaukee Bucks
    20.) Memphis Grizzlies
    21.) Boston Celtics
    22.) Minnesota T-Wolves
    23.) Philadelphia Sixers
    24.) Seattle Sonics
    25.) Charlotte Bobcats
    26.) Toronto Raptors
    27.) G.S. Warriors
    28.) NY Knicks
    29.) Portland Trail Blazers
    30.) Atlanta Hawks

    1. Kobe Bryant, LA Lakers, 28, 6-6, 220
    2. Dwyane Wade, Miami Heat, 24, 6-4, 210
    3. Ray Allen, Seattle Sonics, 31, 6-5, 205
    4. Vince Carter, New Jersey Nets, 29, 6-6, 220
    5. Tracy McGrady, Houston Rockets, 27, 6-8, 210 All things being equal, McGrady is right near the top, but things haven't been equal. McGrady did average 24.4 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.8 assists, 1.26 steals and made .312 of his 3-point attempts last season, but he played in only 47 games because of a back condition that is now officially chronic. With Yao Ming now at another level, McGrady needs to prove this year whether he's a superstar or a former superstar.

i like where they have the rockets. it's fair.

tmac is better than vince and rayray, but i'd consider him a SF from now on.

    let the flame war begin

while tmac plays almost exclusively SF now i cant believe they put ray allen and carter over tmac. allen is too one dimensional and carter is worse of an injury case than mcgrady.

i dont agree with wade but he is the flavor of the year and kobe i am ok with kobe being #1

i just noticed that bonzi is 3rd on the honorable mention list. in my book that makes him #13 in the league. and since i consider tmac better than vince and ray, we have #3 and #13 on the same team! with the #1 center.

i know we had a bad record last year but i don't think we should be ranked behind the bulls or clippers, bump the rockets up to #6. also i think the pistons not having ben wallace is gonna hurt them.

T-Mac is better than Wade, maybe not last season but watch in 07.

Out of the rankings, McGrady and Kobe would be 1st and 2nd.

If those power rankings hold true, our road to the finals would be SA, Dallas and Phoenix. Man, why did they go to 3 division conferances?!? :(

those teams aren't scared to play eachother. if your going to be a championship team then it doesn't matter who you play.

the rockets aren't there yet, but...

i'd take our chances against the suns this year.

A healthy TMac is atleast a #3. The #8 power ranking isn't bad. I think everyone is overrating the Bulls a little bit. They're gonna be good but I don't think Wallace is gonna make that huge of a difference.
