    This is a super old version of VBulletin and there are security risks, and I don't think it is supported anymore.

    I am sure Clutch has his reasons.

    We just need newer, better features. This forum has been the same for years upon years and I understand some would be resistant to change, but we definitely need to upgrade.

    Yes. Also need to hide signatures.

    Also would be nice if there was a feature to "hide"/"spoiler" all pictures by default, so that they only open/enlarge if you click on them. (For all I know this is already a thing in Forum X...)

    If there are avatars, I hope they are heavily policed. Too many forums allow their users to have either NSFW or nearly-NSFW avatars. Those are just tacky.

    Not for us users so much as more of a data base issue with the forums or website. And the longer you go without updating the software the more risk you are to being hacked or attacked.

    We are having the same discussions at DU as to whether to migrate to a newer version of our BBS software.

    But I am not totally familiar with VBulletin we chose IPB....

    Keeping the look and changing the back end would be cool. The look is so classic that I think changing it really loses something.

    We've had a chat room for years, nobody uses it anymore.

    I had a bot camped in there for months at a time and I literally mean NOBODY ever goes in.
