The douche is the idiot that typed them. He said them and he will have to deal with the consequences.

Not a former Astro but .... Twitter got 'em again! Braves Pitcher Sean Newcomb & Nationals SS Trea Turner. "This is something that obviously can’t be happening. I feel bad about it. I don’t mean to offend anybody. I definitely regret it," he said. "I felt that it would be good to address it right away and just let people know that I meant nothing by it," he said, per Wingert. "I didn't mean to offend anybody and I'll make sure it doesn't happen again. I'll be smarter." Sean Newcomb said he saw the tweets resurfaced when he was on his phone after today’s game and he wanted to get ahead of it and apologize, so he asked the #Braves if he could meet with media now to issue statement When asked if he was worried about how stuff like this would play in the clubhouse, “I think that people who know me know that’s not the kind of person I am.” https://www.sbnation.com/mlb/2018/7/29/17628168/sean-newcomb-apologizes-homophobic-tweets-braves https://sports.yahoo.com/nationals-...ve-tweets-surface-loss-marlins-015148257.html Spoiler
Preston Tucker was one of 3 Braves sent to the Reds for Adam Duvall. I think he has been added to the Reds 25 man roster.
Mike Hauschild was signed by Toronto, placed on the big league club, and threw 6 shutout innings in relief last night.
Of all the prospects Houston has traded away, only 1 position player is ranked in the top 150 in the league in fWAR (Enrique Hernandez at 130th). However the pitching side features 4 former Astros prospects in the top 150: Josh Hader (25th), Mike Foltynewicz (32nd), Vince Velasquez (41st), and Joe Musgrove (116th).
Had they kept Folty and VV and developed them as relievers I think they both could have been great. I know I would trade Smith and Harris for Folty and VV right now. But I agree, Hader is the only one who really hurts. As they’ve made all these trades over the las few years, Hader and Nottingham were the only two guys I thought would come back and bite them. Everyone else I thought either wasn’t a great prospect or was being dealt from an area of surplus for the Astros.
