After 2 previous mistrials, today found guilty. Life in prison, eligible for parole after 40 years. https://www.houstonchronicle.com/ne...armstrong-jr-verdict-third-trial-18299279.php
Dude had no expression when the verdict was handed down, what a sad situation. I had no clue he had gotten married and had a kid, now the kid has no dad for life.
Did anyone ever hear rumors about motive or anything? I read they found a crack pipe and pillow with bullet holes in his room (not the pillows used for the murders), which they used to argue premeditation. Just so dumbfounding. No reports, that I’ve seen, of abuse, mental health issues, drugs (other than crack pipe found). Was it for life insurance? what a sad situation. Also, who the f marries someone accused of murdering their parents?!?
I worked in prisons for three years. Over that span I heard of three relationships with inmates. One was a nurse who quit when her BF got out; the medical clinic was more scandalized that she was white and with a black guy than the obvious legal reasons. The other two were lady guards who got caught in relationships with inmates. They were both fired. One of them went batshit insane when she was escorted out into the parking lot. She took off all of her clothes and started running around naked, screaming. Some of the other lady guards took her to her house and left her there. None of these events were ever reported because these were all privately run prisons, and of course, the incidents would have brought investigations and bad press.
I haven't really kept up with the case, but it seems the DA and the cops felt he was the guy because they took it to trial 3 times before they convicted him.
Explains a lot about Xero's desire for a helicopter. He can land it in the rec yard and jailbreak his wommens as needed.
