Move Lowry +16th to get Drummond
Move the 14th and Dallas pick to get PJones III

I don't care if they have high bust potential, we can atleast suck for a few years and finally have high ceiling guys on the roster.

Agreed. Its better than drafting a Marcus Morris type again. In our situation you got to take a chance on high potential guys and roll the dice rather than playing it safe.

Ford must realize Morey has an intense fetish for undersized PFs.

Well since you don't care if they suck or not why not just draft at 14 and 16? There are high ceiling guys in that range as well.

Which undersized PFs have the Rockets acquired under Morey?

Scola, Landry, Patterson are each 6'9''. Hill is 6'10''. Motiejunas is 6'11''. Chuck Hayes at 6'6'' is really the only significant undersized PFs.

Jones is 6'9'', 249, with 7'2'' wingspan. Essentially the same size as Karl Malone.

Is 6'9'' undersized for a PF now?

Then we can trade Martin for Davis and Scola for Beal

    Dragic
    Beal
    PJones
    Drummond
    Davis

    We'd be a dynasty

...what is it with clutchfans? A 14th pick and a future top 20 protected pick WILL NOT get us the 7th pick. This isn't NBA 2k12.

If Jones is there at #14, I take him basically as a flyer.... but I am NOT trading up for him. He just does not get it, and honestly was not that good a college player.

    Lets see:

Chicago plays 6'9'' Carlo Boozer and Taj Gibson at PF.
Miami plays 6'10'' (and skinny) Chris Bosh and 6'8'' Udonis Haslem at PF.
Indiana plays 6'9'' David West at PF.
Boston plays 6'9'' Brandon Bass at PF.
Atlanta plays 6'9'' Josh Smith at PF.
Spurs play 6'11 Tim Duncan at PF, but often pairs him with 6'8'' Boris Diaw or 6'7'' Dajuan Blair.
Thunder plays 6'10'' Serge Ibaka and 6'9'' Nick Collison at PF, and often pair these two up.
Lakers play 7'1'' Pau Gasol at PF.
Grizzlies 6'9'' Zach Randolph at PF.
Clippers plays 6'9'' Blaker Griffin at PF.

I just do not see the Rockets getting there paws on Drummond and PJIII, but if they did I would be estatic, especially with the upside of Drummond which is tremendous.

Well, that's the thing about NBA draftees, you keep on getting older, they stay the same age.

Average height of that sample size is 6'9.5 (making 6'9 below average). I bet if you took the average of every starting PF in the league you'd get an average height of even greater than 6'9.5...at the very least you wouldn't get an average of below 6'9. 6'9 is below average height for a PF.

Haha. Maybe so, but I'd say you're reaching :).

Also, the Spurs may still list Duncan as a PF, but he hasn't actually played PF since seemingly forever.

There's nothing wrong with being a 6'9 PF. Most guys are.
Gasol, Ibaka and Nowitziki are outliers and Gasol, like Duncan would play center on most teams.

Malone's pic was later in his career, not when he was a college sophmore.
