First let me say this is not a bash Trump thing.... This is a curiosity thing.. I'm just curious to know if a lot of people who voted for Trump would have still voted for him if Bernie was running against him? T_Man
Nope. Don't really care about a lot of the PC bs issues. Voted for Trump for: Reduction in an overreaching government Help the economy lower regulations lower taxes put business people in the mix and not treat business as an enemy to be extorted Don't really care about much else.
I'm not going to vote in the poll because I didn't vote for Trump (or anyone this time around) but I would have probably voted for Bernie if his party didn't rig the process to where he never got the chance. I don't agree with his politics very often when ever because he's out on the fringes of the extreme left (doesn't mean there aren't those even more radical out there) but I always got the feeling that he was a generally good person who had good intentions rather than merely selfish intentions.....something rare in a politician.
Sanders would of raised my taxes by over 10k a year. I'll pass. http://election2016.taxpolicycenter.org/2016/03/25/voxs-new-presidential-tax-calculator/
Wealth inequality isn't an issue to me. It doesn't speak to if people are getting richer or poorer. Which is what I care about.
Crappy poll. The local echo chamber will of course sway the poll. Bernie would have won, however he would have been an ineffective president. With a Republican congress, nothing would have gotten done. Bernie would have been too busy passing his socialistic agenda which would have been rejected instead of passing meaningful legislation. The most irritating thing about Trump so far is his antagonistic behavior. That and the left completely twisting everything he says and does more than a Christian or Muslim zealot translating their respective religious text. The hard Left has gone full r****d since this election.
He wasn't just attacking the rich though, i'm a freaking high school teacher and would be paying an extra 8k a year in taxes, which would literally mean that I would have to either quit teaching or I couldn't afford to live.
This thread is pointless. Don't you know that no one here voted for Trump? Don't let the constant defense of everything Trump does fool you.
