Isn't it blatantly obvious? Discuss please and hopefully I won't have to bump this thread next summer.

If he is 6f 8in. Or lower Morey will give up first round picks.

I'ver been lobbying for a full size pf forever... like 20-25 mpg or on a situational basis...
He can split time with PJ and PJ can log some mins at sf so he's not getting beat on by bigger guys all night...
Box out, rebounding, d, finish a few shots at the rim... If CC were a beast we could get by wo more size at pf - but he aint - he gets outmuscled regularly... so we need some size from the pf position.

    ...imo...

Why fix the problem that we had for years.

Can anyone name a real power forward less Scola after the championship years?

One of the single greatest teams I’ve witnessed had Trevor Ariza and PJ Tucker as the guys taking minutes at PF. I wouldn’t deviate from that formula.

Focus on finding big wings that can defend multiple positions. (I’m looking at you Stanley Johnson/Rondae Hollis-Jefferson)

Starting power forwards by year (regular season most games played starting at PF):

    Charles Barkley 97-99
    Mo Taylor 00-01
    Kenny Thomas 02
    Thomas/James Posey 03
Kelvin Cato/Jim Jackson 04 (yes, we played a lot of Cato-Yao lineups..)
    Juwan Howard/Clarance Weatherspoon 05
    Juwan Howard 06
    Juwan Howard/Chuck Hayes 07
    Chuck Hayes/Luis Scola 08
    Luis Scola 09-12
    Patrick Patterson/Marcus Morris/Donatas Motiejunas 13
    Terrence Jones 14
    Jones/Motiejunas 15
Capela/Motiejunas 16 (yes, we played a lot of Capela-Howard lineups...)
    Ryan Anderson 17
    Anderson/PJ Tucker 18
    PJ Tucker 19

Uhh.... yeah, this isn't exactly the epitome of all-stars and stability. PF has always been the worst position for the Rockets. You could argue it has been since Thorpe, with the exception of Barkley.

morey and tilman will sign a 4 if they're the size of a 3 and they pay for their own airfare all season. Tillman gotta save those taxes.

They need a stretch. He would be in Harden way, and prevent Harden from driving to the lane. Its not in MDA Play book to have Post UP Powerfoward, just a center .

To be fair, we only had a PF the first championshi year in OT.
Second time round we had a tweener in Horry - who is exactly the type of 4 we need now.

Pointless having a 4 who can't guard the perimeter in todays NBA. Jam Green would be great, but possibly he thinks he can make more than 3mill a year?

Then, 15 years later, we doubled down and played Clint and Dwert together. And worse, Omer and Dwert together.

We've been begging for a PF on and off for 19 seasons now. Crazy. Undervalued position. Rebounding and help defense from your PF matter a lot. Ask Draymond.

How many people here actually love Dream?

It use to be 100%, but now I think the number is down.

Actually I don't believe everyone here loves the Rockets. I don't make that assumption now. Too many trolls and fake fans.
