    Saunders the GM don't want to trade Love but Saunders the coach will want his ass out of there ASAP.

    T-Wolves are doomed. Best case scenario now is Flip gets fired from both positions at the end of next season.

    Not a fan but he's not nearly as terrible as y'all are making it out to be. Who's gonna take that job knowing Love is out anyways?

    Or is Saunders deluding himself that by taking the coaching reins he will convince Kevin Love to stick around?

    If so - who can he hire that might do better? Nobody wants the job.

    If not - what good coach wants to take over that that with Love on his way out and so much uncertainty? It makes the most sense for him to bridge the gap, gut-out the transition period, then bring in the long term coach when there's established stability.

    To me it seems like he's making the best possible decision.
