Wow, SAS sounds super intelligent here. I agree with almost everything he's saying.

While I sympathize with this case and the many things it represents, I have to remark that I can't believe how much coverage it gets. All the major news stations pretty much are 24/7 Zimmerman trial coverage and 1% on global news or other issues affecting the country.

What is glaringly awful with American media is the focus on creating stories to generate viewing traffic and what is wrong with Americans is to caring too little about other issues affecting the country and the world.

They cover what brings viewers. How much attention did the shooting against the Sikh's get?

Hopefully some athletes will put up a fund for the Martin family.

If you don't understand why its on all the major news channels 24/7, then I would believe you do not understand the modern news outlets.

CNN/FOX/MSNBC is on par with the History channels and MTV. Its becoming nothing more than reality TV.

Stephen A: Facts presented in the court of law did not meet what the media was reporting
Skip: All the respected legal analysts I saw after the verdict said the case should never have been brought to trial

Those are paraphrases of two key points that were brought up.

At the end when Stephen A. went on the rant about the hoodie though missed a key point. I don't understand why nobody wants to talk about the reality that Trayvon got violent. Why can't Stephen A. say "Tell your kids not to hit somebody" when he talks about it not being right and wrong.

    Still, pretty reasonable discussion.

I wish SAS would speak like that more often instead of yelling. He can sound so eloquent and intelligent.

That would be the one good thing in all of this. One less family on welfare.

Martin's family got a 7 figure settlement from the home-owners association of the sub-division.

    You sound like an idiot.

Yeah, from rodan, blasts like that to a dead kid's family are not that surprising.

The reason people shouldn't tell their kids that based on this case is because nobody knows what happened. It is totally plausible that Martin did nothing wrong just as it is totally plausible that Zimmerman did nothing wrong that night. The only fact we know is that we know nothing to very little about what happened that night.

You don't think Martin should have called the Police? You wouldn't tell your kids not to confront someone and let the Police handle it?

    I would.

Wish Zimmerman would have listened to that advice.
