Ankiel, Pena, Wallace and Carter are all playing like complete garbage right now. 35 Ks in 55 PA combined Ankiel has no contract and is old, he will lose his job first. Pena won't survive much longer, but we are paying him , so he will get at least a month or two. Frankly Ankiel shouldn't have the job now, Barnes or J.D. should be starting IMO, F. Martinez when he returns. Carter had a great year last year, 864 OPS, in about 1/3 year. He will probably be given a longer rope than Wallace, who has been pathetic, 11ks in 15 PA Castro has had a rough start, but he has already proven to be a competent big league catcher, at worst. Plus no prospects breathing down his neck. I still expect a real good year from him, just a bad start. Dominguez has only 1 K, no errors, and .764 OPS, if he finished the year with that exact number it will have been a good year for him. Him and Castro are in no danger of losing their job anytime soon
