IMHO Harden has to embrace a more motion based system.........cut down on his ISOs.

Encourage his team mates to shoot all kinds of jumpers.

I'm with you their is something just not right. James has got to make other people better if he is going to hold the ball that long

We can criticize MDA, but I'd seriously think about trading Harden. That guy acts as if he's throwing games. How can the coach take blame for his best player not taking one shot in the last 7mins of a crucial game?

I like Mike, but damn our system is predictable. Probably the most predictable offense in the playoffs.

Do you think Harden has it in him? I think if he sets a goal this off-season to work on his off ball game maybe we can see a different more varied Harden next season.

Let's see if Harden has the self-awareness to know where he's severely deficient.

Agreed, but it's on the coach to enforce that.

The organization needs to follow the Spurs. Let Morey handle the roster but give a coach like Messina ultimate power in how he coaches the team.

If Morey tells Messina we need to shoot more threes the coach should tell Morey to F off like Adelman basically did. Let Morey focus on building the roster, trades, contracts, draft, etc...and let the coach coach his team and players and if the Coach sees it fit to sit Harden for not playing correctly then the organization should side with coach.

This is the ship the Spurs run and that's how they get ultimate discipline out of all their players.

I don't see how you can blame Morey for MDA's coaching .

Morey isn't forcing him to teach players a certainty way .

Isn't every indication that Morey stays out of the coaches way and lets him do his job

It's the most predictable system in the NBA and probably league history.

Why are we talking about firing MDA? Should be Morey that is fired. Other than a luck trade with Harden, what has he done otherwise to bring good talent in or draft picks?

That is a huge knock on Harden as well.

He is as stubborn as MDA and Morey.

    Embarrassing series by MDA

Kept trotting out Capela. Kept trotting out Green. Was clueless when Durant went out.

Just embarrassing. Honestly hope he’s fired. Tired of watching our coach get worked over in the playoffs.

The coach we need is a coach we won’t get because they won’t believe in Morey’s philosophy

    IMO

    Option A

Look at the defense James played this series!

The same kind of question was asked about James a couple of years ago .

Harden is willing to do whatever it takes

MDA just spams the "give James the ball and get out of the way" because he thinks it's he best option .

He doesn't mix **** up at all

We really are the most predictable team .

I don’t think it matters who our coach is. Tonight was simply about lack of effort and being smart. Rebounding and turnovers. That’s on the players. This is so much more than just MDA

Can’t deny that. No movement except for driving directly to the basket.

I was pissed off at House but was willing to give him another chance. I wanted to see some Faried because he’s helped us win games. Green and Capela got so many chances even thought they played like crap. What’s the point of having depth if you won’t use it?

I don't understand people asking for Morey's head here, the roster is good enough to compete, there aren't 27/28 better rosters than this one out there, and it's certainly not the general manager the one who plays sick guys or refuses to play more than 7/8 guys even when some are unplayable, just like it's not the general manager out there disappearing from the game and throwing the ball away in the careless ways possible two times in the last 3 minutes of an elimination game.

Some of you forget (i guess) that Morey was also the general manager when the Rockets played a completely different offense with Adelman and Yao, he built a (contending) roster around that franchise player and coach, the offense we have now fits with James and Mike, if you think you could play the 7 seconds or less offense with Harden, or have him running around screens like Curry, and that the reason we're not doing it is Morey, you're delusional.
