CP# wanted to come here was on a expiring I know he wanted to get him ASAP once he knew it was a option, but had he kept a pick or either dekker or hare (young talent) maybe getting melo would've been easier, we had just gave up a first for LOU will for a half season rental then trade him away.... as a throw in... good thing is.. we still have time to look at other players but once again we don't have much...

i don't know anything about baseball and have no idea who altuve is. but in any case, my point is that morey severely overpaid for anderson, who btw was a bench player before coming here. i'm not saying morey is a bad gm or he should be fired, just that the anderson contract is now a thorn in our side.

Very bad timing to even consider this..... He has his vision but he is stuck in this mode for a while now. Always behind GSW..... You would leave the team to a new GM with another vision. All these years of trading and signing would be a waste of time.
All these years of trading and signing have been a waste of almost Morey has been chasing a big 3 for a decade and Presti got himself two big 3s in just over five years Presti snags both players Morey is after and Melo demanded only us for 3 months and still couldn't get it done. Presti got Melo in less than 24 hours after he expanded his list I love the harden/CP3 combo but if we lose 2nd round and OKC goes further than us then I think it is time to look at Morey Morey did a whole bunch of podcast saying "it's an arms race and if you aren't in the race your on the sideline"... well because he wouldn't up the risk profile we might be stuck on the sideline for a while
Sam presti also traded Harden for penuts and lost Durant for nothing. Now he has 3 stars who may leave whith 1 year. I think he did great this summer but let's face it we can't give Knicks what they wanted. 2 starters for the 34 yr old Melo will leave us worse off.
Morey doesn't have the same options as Presti. For OKC, they can go full rebuild mode should Westbrook decide to move. So he can put everything on the line and make a big bet. Rockets is too good to go the rebuild route, especially with Harden locked for 5-6 years.
