garm quality is not higher if you look at all the DMo threads, but I do think there's less hate in the actual threads. Although it might be me just being optimistic, let's wait till they lose a game or 2 to see the "told you so's" come forth or state "the sky is falling". I'm all for criticism, but some of these guys must have a shitty life to feel good when their team loses. Haha
Fans of winning teams are generally happier and not getting blown out by crappy teams is great reason for optimism.
I don't know - that is not my job to know who would be better. And as for whom I think is the root of most of the issues, it is Le$ far and away. DD
So far in his career, this is what each team has paid Chandler Parsons per point scored (regular season plus playoffs): Memphis Grizzlies: $158,312 (for each point scored) Dallas Mavericks: $15,956 Houston Rockets: $826 And some of you actually think we should fire Daryl Morey?!? Those figures alone should make people appreciate DM's astute decision-making. The choice not to match CP25's Mavs offer sheet might have saved the following five years for this franchise.
Yeah shame on him for not getting Melo. He has all the sway and options in the world. He should trade James Harden for Melo. Anyone would take that deal.
let's be honest now, if morey hadn't gotten absolutely reemed on the anderson contract last year in terms of both $ and years, then melo would have already been a rocket 2 months ago. so as good a gm as he might be, he's by no means blameless here
He got CP3, and upgraded the bench for essential Pat Bev. No credit for that? and last yr you have to keep in context. EVERYONE, all FAs were getting crazy contracts.
i think he also overpaid by attaching our 2018 pick to the cp3 trade, but in any case i did initially post he is an overall good gm. regarding last year, who else wanted anderson? the ONLY other team even mentioned was SAC, which is a wretched terrible organization with in a 13% state income tax domicile. morey got reemed plain and simple.
hindsight is 20/20 if we hadn't gotten Anderson last year we wouldn't have won as many games because he contributed to a lot of wins in the regular season Like anyone was thinking about CP3 and Melo last off season, people thought we should have tanked and was 6-8 seed at best
Yeah I mean, we've been stuck in the lottery treadmill for years with no hope for the future. Oh wait, that never happened and we've been in the playoffs or a contender every year. Sorry man, you're wrong.
hindsight? myself and considerable part of this bbs were livid upon immediate release of that signing here. along with royce white, that was the biggest headscratcher of morey's career
