With so many workouts, measurements, rumors and news about these draft prospects going on for the last couple of months, and now it's just a day left before the actual NBA Draft, who would you really like to see the Rockets pick at 8th if non of the "Top 6 Players" fall to us? (and no trades going for the Rockets)

The Top 6 Players I assumed are:
    LaMarcus Aldridge
    Tyrus Thomas
    Adam Morrison
    Andrea Bargnani
    Rudy Gay
    Brandon Roy

Brewer. This poll may be moot if we are moving up to get a top 6 player.

I think we will trade up to 4-6, maybe for Gay, Roy, Barngagni or Morrison (if any of them are there.)

But at 8, with those guys off the board I want Brewer.

An NBA ready defender, who instantly becomes are perimeter defensive afficianado, who can do a bit of everything on the offensive side and has a work ethic and league pedigree.

    Exactly !

His awkward arm will probably never allow him to be a good shooter, I would rather have in order.

    Morrison, Roy, Redick.

I´d pick Brewer. I haven't seen any of theese guys play but I like that he is versatile and could probably play back up minutes at the 3 and 1.

Trading down to N.O. would be my first option. I'd draft what ever available 2 guard left out of Redick, Carney, Brewer, or Foye and take Saer Sene with the latter pick. We'd have a younger, cheaper, better Cato all over again.

And a PG in the second round. Maybe Terrell Everett from Okla. or Will Blalock from Iowa St.

    Holes filled. :)

I agree with you. and I think we could draft Gibson in the 2nd round. He could be a back up guard and is a Houston native
