Probably depends on how many minutes he plays??

During his 3 seasons with Memphis, Ennis attempted 1.9 per game in 21 minutes.
Prior to coming here, Mbah a Moute attempted 1.4 per game in 22 minutes with the Clippers.

Ennis has history of attempting a LOT of 3s, his stint with the Pelicans saw him hoisting up 5.6 per contest - that was his best stint shooting wise, he made 48% from 3 that year.

I'm expecting him to be ok with shot volume if he comes here. Also would expect him to shoot around his career average of 36%

Been in the league for about 7 years and I never heard of him. Awesome lol. Stats look like hes decent at the 3 and D with length. Not terrible for depth if he's aggressive.

James Ennis was amazing for the Perth Wildcats in the Australian NBL after he got drafted by the Heat, but as fantastic as he was to watch in that league, I am not convinced he can be a real difference maker in the NBA, and I certainly don't see him being able to hang with the Warriors.

edit: his NBL highlights were awesome though

ppl sure do get fooled by career stats for players who get traded mid-season, and count those rows of stats for multiple teams as multiple years.

That was only 9 games, and not the whole season. He shot 25% on 10 games with MEM that year. He played for three teams, but only 22 games.

I'm sure he will shoot as well as Luc, though.

    He's only played 4 years.

What is up with Ottis Porter's name floating around here and there on this forum? Is there any legitimacy to those rumors.

Would love to have him here. Perfect fit.

Thanks for the humor JR--Anus Cancer is hilarious!

I remember Ennis in Memphis and liking his game. He impressed me poor than my recollection of Luc on the Clips. I think this would be another under the radar signing that could prove to meet Morey's comment of outplaying the level of contract he receives. I also like he just turned 28 and should be peaking over the next few years.

Let's see what his decision is. My guess is he will decline the vet minimum offer, unless Detroit refuses to give him more money. His shooting percentage there has gone down nearer 30.

Absolutely none. It's a case of a poster trying to will something to happen.

I think it was @justtxyank goofing around and deciphering a tweet from tad brown as a parody.

Gotta have faith that, somehow, Morey will get us a viable replacement at the starting SF. And nope I'm not considering Melo as a viable starting SF replacement for Ariza.

Ennis is like young Gerald Green with better D. He would be a great fit on this Rockets team.
