Who are some role players you guys like across the league? Guys the average NBA fan might not know.

I'm a big fan of Jodie Meeks on the Lakers. He's just a knockdown shooter off of the catch, either from a standstill or coming off of screens. He's not a great defender but he puts forth a solid effort. What I like most about him is he isn't afraid of the moment and he plays hard. That's the sort of quality that rubs off on teammates over time. He's the type of role player championship level teams have.

    :(

I liked him a lot. His career cratered after going to the Kings. How has he been doing with Toronto?

I'll forever cherish that gold collection of overpaid role players and walking corpses on one roster during the Knicks' rebuilding years under Donnie Walsh.

Battier, Bradley and Tucker are starting for their times, don't really fit the criteria.

Actually been getting some non-garbage minutes minutes, his rebounding has recovered. Raptors fans seem to like him but are angry because Casey sometimes plays him over Valanciunas. That's my impression anyway.

I'm personally a fan of Kyle Korver, Tony Allen, and I liked Stephen Jackson before he completely declined. Have to also give nods to Landry, Jarrett Jack, old Shane Battier, Varejao, Nate Robinson, Gallinari if you count him.

He's retired now. But I'm not gonna lie. I actually liked Scott Padgett on the Rockets. I thought he did his job well.
