Who are some role players you guys like across the league? Guys the average NBA fan might not know. I'm a big fan of Jodie Meeks on the Lakers. He's just a knockdown shooter off of the catch, either from a standstill or coming off of screens. He's not a great defender but he puts forth a solid effort. What I like most about him is he isn't afraid of the moment and he plays hard. That's the sort of quality that rubs off on teammates over time. He's the type of role player championship level teams have.
^ He's actually performing well when he gets playing time. check out his game log: http://espn.go.com/nba/player/gamelog/_/id/2834/chuck-hayes Overpaid, but still the same ole chuckwagon!

Actually been getting some non-garbage minutes minutes, his rebounding has recovered. Raptors fans seem to like him but are angry because Casey sometimes plays him over Valanciunas. That's my impression anyway.
I'm personally a fan of Kyle Korver, Tony Allen, and I liked Stephen Jackson before he completely declined. Have to also give nods to Landry, Jarrett Jack, old Shane Battier, Varejao, Nate Robinson, Gallinari if you count him.
He's retired now. But I'm not gonna lie. I actually liked Scott Padgett on the Rockets. I thought he did his job well.
