Out here in West Texas, we have Taco Villa. There's nothing quite like their Mexi Chili Cheese Fries or their Apple Burritos.

Oohh--that reminds me of something humerous (to me anyway). When I was in Canada last month, they had "Taco Time." Taco Time had these things called "mexi-fries." I saw an order coming out, and you know what they were?

    huh?

This thread is giving me heartburn.

I like Arby's potato cakes and I used to love McDonald's fried apple pies before they went all healthy and started "baking" them.

But I'm one to talk. My favorite fast food is a Subway veggie foot-long.

All this talk about greasy burgers is making me ill.

For fast food, there's only one choice: Subway sandwiches.

I'm eating one right now. [IMG]

Turkey & ham. Only 6 grams of fat, too.

I remember when I use to be able to eat fast food, but that was until I started my football diet. Its been a year and I don't miss it at all.

    fadeaway,

That's only if you didn't get:
    • Mayonaise
    • Cheese
    • Oil

And, if you didn't get any of that, then that is one dry sandwich.

    ---------------------

    Jeff & Pole,

So, just tell me when to meet you guys at the local Wendy's. [IMG]

A six inch sandwich without all those things. I've been eating more Subway sandwiches in the last few months than I care to think about, in addition to other somewhat healthy stuff. Dropped about 20 pounds though.

However, I did have to go get some mexi chili cheese fries and an apple burrito after posting awhile ago.

DREAMer>> Yup. I don't get any of that stuff, and I like it just fine. I think it tastes better without the extra crud. Just heap on the veggies (no pickles, though) and sprinkle a little salt and pepper over the top, and that's one perfect sandwich.

Hey just cause i started this thread does not mean im a fast food junkie. I eat burgers, tacos, pizza, etc. maybe once like in two weeks. I usually eat a 6 inch Roast Beef from Subway (less than 400 cal, and only 6 grams of fat), or I just get a smoothie from Smoothie King. Their Power Punch plus is the best drink in the world-500 calories, but only 1.5 grams of fat!

Best fast food is the Chicken Strips Meal in Whataburger. You get three strips of chicken, gravy, and toast.
And plus Rockets03, the Hulk is the best Smoothie King. Oh well, youre a Yankees fan. That explains it.

    ------------------
The next time I have meat and mashed potatoes, I think I'll put a very large blob of potatoes on my plate with just a little piece of meat. And if someone asks me why i didn't get more meat, ill just say, "Oh, you mean this?" and pull out a big piece of meat from inside the blob of potatoes, where ive hidden it. Good magic trick, huh?

Amen Jeff! mmmmmmm . . . slurpees. . . Who ever invented slurpees deserves some kind of reward or recognition - no doubt.

Arby's Roast Beef 'n Cheddar Sandwiches are 'da bomb, as are ALL Harvey's burgers (not sure if you get those down south)
BK Broiler's and Chicken Sandeiches aren't bad at all either.
As for Quizno's, I've never had a chance to eat there myself, but I've heard only rave reviews. Apparently, "it makes Subway sandwiches seem bland." Damn! [IMG]

I used to love Taco Bell, but unfortunately after hearing countless stories about the food, I haven't been there in years. [IMG]

Damn, who would have thunk my memorable 100th post would be devoted to fast food?! [IMG]

Quizno's is good. Very good. Also, expensive for a sandwich. Reminds me of Schlotzky's.

    I'm a big Zuzu's fan. Fish tacos - mmm!

God, how could I forget Kripy Kreme. They're opening one up here in Austin next month. My little Buddha belly will become a big one!
