One day at Whole Foods, I noticed that they were selling out of a particular kind of chip. Every time, there would only be a few small bags left, constantly sold out of the larger ones. One day, my wife decided to buy some. They are the best chips I've ever had. Ever. And I've eaten a lot of chips. So what are your favorite chips? What do you eat the most, and what tastes the best? Oh, right, the chips I like: Blue corn, tomato powder, paprika, and that's pretty much it. Stupidly effective combination.
These were and always will be my favorite chips ...I know it's maybe not technically a chip but it's close enough. And only Planters..the others that are out there now aren't quite the same, though the HEB brand cheeseballs come close. Outside of that probably Tostitos, because I'm addicted to chips n salsa. And then crunchy Cheetos.
Veggie straws at costco. I think its called sensible portions or something like that. 37 chips per serving at 120 cals. I munch on these and it doesn't set me back too much.
I like pretzels. Undecided between Hanover and Rold gold. To me, chips are just too oily to eat on a snacking / consistent basis.
I usually shop at Safeway since it's closest to my house, but they don't have a huge variety of chips, like the ones mentioned in the OP. Any Safeway shoppers know of some amazing chips sold at safeway? i want to try something new other than the typical lays, cheetos, doritos, etc. I've tried kettle brand, they're okay, but looking for something better.
Beautiful, love these chips. A bit pricy, but well worth it. Also enjoy the Green Hatch Chile Chips from HEB, though they tend to get a bit too salty:
