Poor guy is taking this hard.

    ...

Instead, the Rockets (who have lost about $35 million of All-Star to injury this year) sent the Western Conference semifinals back to Los Angeles for a Game 7, an elimination game in which anything can happen. (See: NCAA Tournament.) Meanwhile, Denver chills 'til the next episode, and Cleveland get a head start on knitting those Christmas booties. Understandably, this is having adverse affects on the personal lives of the Lakers.

... perhaps none moreso than the coach himself. Jeanie Buss, the owner's daughter who also happens to be Jackson's love interest, tweeted the following at roughly 11 PM Pacific on Thursday:

    [rquoter]
Strained conversation w/Phil on way to plane. we're both so frustrated its tough to talk.
    [/rquoter]

Aaron Brooks, Luis Scola, Shane Battier ... why do you hate love? Ron Artest truly is the back hole of happiness.

    ...

Watching Kobe getting master-Battier-ed cannot be good for the love life.

Phil, snapping at your girlfriend isn't gonna help make Kobe less of an arrogant prick, make Pau tougher, make Fisher faster, make Odom healthier, make Vujacic less of a woman, allow Farmar to not float away with his big goofy ears, or make Shannon (Chris) Brown stop beating his girl. And apparently, it's also not gonna make your girlfriend stop tweeting all your privacy away.

The interesting part of this is really that now we know all the "we ain't worried talk" at the post-game press conference is all BS.

The thing that I would love more than anything is after hearing how Jackson fielded questions regarding their "potential" Lakers/Nuggets matchup before game 6, is when after we eliminate them on sunday that during his post game interview, a reporter will actually have the balls and ask him what his current thoughts are on that "inevitable" LA/Denver Western Conference Finals matchup....just to stick it to him

WTF is it with the Lakers Organization?

Magic Johnson, a part laker owner on ESPN always talking from the Laker view (like that is a less conveyed viewpoint)

Now Phil dating the Owners daughter, what the hell.
