I was pretty upset at losing another first round pick.

But it had not dawned on me that the Houston Rockets haven't made a first round pick since 2015 (Dekker).

Morey just doesn't seem to care as much about those first round picks as the rest of us. At least not as picks, as we know he values them as trade assets.

    EDIT - Read that wrong.

Can the 7 mil get a decent center who can shoot and rebound by tomorrow?

Not that he doesn't care about them -- I'm pretty sure he's actively avoiding first rounders unless maybe he can get a top-10 pick.

Exactly, I may get ran for this but man this shiit has gotten out of control with all the "cheap" nicknames for the owner. I get it but it's just not funny and to see every other post and every other damn thread stinking up the GARM, geesh give it a rest. I'm not defending TF but it is what it is right now.

Morey doesn't care about picks but he went from using them to get Lou Williams/CP3 to getting under the tax in 2019 and again in 2020.

Morey tends to draft better in the second round anyways

So if the Rockets haven't made a first round pick since 2015, then how are they not in violation of the Stepien Rule?

I know that they are not, just not sure of the details how...

You can’t trade away consecutive picks before the pick is made. But once one draft happens you can trade away the next draft pick.
Reason being they didn’t want a team to gut its future all at one time, but they are fine with it bleeding out it’s future a little but at a time

I mean, how about you do you and let everyone else do themselves? This owner is unconscionably bad. It’s beyond obvious that he’s going to run Morey off, and once Harden is done propping his worthless ass up the team is going to absolutely crater.
I would honestly be surprised if we didn’t become the Washington Wizards of the western conference post Harden, as long as Tilman owns the team
He’s obnoxious, awful and cheap, and he’s fond of pissing on my name and telling me it’s raining.
**** that guy. Anyone that wants to rail against him is A-OK in my book.

Why not? We don't play the players we drafted anyway. Not anymore.

Railing is one thing, have it...he’s fair game but the incessant whining via creating ANOTHER thread to tell us what they’re doing is useless.

We ALL know why they’re doing what they’re doing. We don’t need another thread telling us the same thing over and over and over that’s all.

It should never be personal with your sports teams, it’s a GD business first and last but as you said, you do you
