    I dislike Serbians quite a bit. That's why I'm so surprised that I'm rooting for them. Maybe it's also because they're the underdogs. I also respect them for getting to the final with what is basically their B-team.

    Any reason is good not to root for Dragić, eh?

    Funny, how people here talk every NBA championship is deserved, no asterisk involved...GSW against depleted West and Cleveland, then CLE against GSW with lightly injured Curry and Green out for a game...all the way to Houston Rockets winning their first title against Jordan-less league.

    If you want to find a thing to nitpick about, you will. Except for Dragić, Dončić (who is 18!) and Randolph, Slovenia has more or less no name players who were forgotten prior to this Eurobasket. To be able to get to Finals with them and all our emotional baggage from previous Eurobaskets is truly an achievement. Same for Serbia who is missing lots of players.

    But go on with hating, I don't mind.

    serbia had a very good gameplan to start by bodying up and being as physical as possible while trying to force a halfcourt game. but somebody has to play transition D, stop ball and check dragic at halfcourt... make him give the ball up b/c kid looks like barkley coast to coast rite now lol

    I'm not hating on Dragic. I think he and Doncic were phenomenal in this tournament. And I'm not hating on Slovenia! I just don't respect them - there's quite a difference there.

    Choosing one side to support for the final isn't hating. What should be the criteria to choose another faraway foreign country to support? It's up for anyone to decide. History game style etc
    Even the colour of the flag can be a factor or if a team has a very good looking player.
    It's not like he rooted against Slovenia all tournament like I did with Spain. Now that's hating.

    If Slovenia didn't have Randolph, they'd be my favorite team. Their semi-final game against Spain reminded me of the 2003 Eurobasket final between Lithuania and Spain. A small country against a basketball powerhouse.
