Our defense is beyond terrible, this shows what a fluke the game Serbia was. Our opponents get so many open 3pt opportunities, it's disgusting. And don't see Italy with Galo/Belinelli/Datome or Spain not taking advantage of this and slaughtering us.

I don't watch that group but in yesterdays tv show the commentator said that Italy ahs fallen apart. Bellineli is out for the next two days or so and another got injured. I wouldn't be so scared about Italy.
Turkey on the other hand has a good young team and a great coach. AND they pay good defence. They are definitely a more dangerous team.

    How is Shroeder playing?

Coach brought in the whole bench unit after the starting five got demolished. Schröder has been bad with unnecessary turnovers and horrible defense.

Damn. And the turkish guards aren't that great. He should dominate them at least.
The game is still too early, plenty of time though.

BTW in the games in group C the arena is almost completely empty. Shameful. And the ticket costs only 10 euros.

Just came home. These numbers are embarrasing. DBB president should be sent to jail for picking Turkey as opponent (which is a stupid rule anyway, but you can't be that dumb...).

He probably did it for the ticket sales.
Its still a long time to go. In the second quarter the score was 13-10 it was the first quarter meltdown that has germany in a hole right now.
Turkish team is very young, wouldn't surprise me if they lost concetration and gave a chance to Germany to come back in the game though.

Belinelli would play against Spain; Gigi Datome is out for remainder of the championship.

He definitely did it for ticket sales, but this is complete bull****. Basketball isn't that small here, plus everybody knew about the serious chances of Dirk returning. With him playing again you would have sold out against anybody. Even if not, are some tickets sales more important than your chances to make it to the next round? Hate this guy anyway and Fleming can piss off to Denver. Opponent is in foul trouble and his guys just take jump shot after jump shot.

Yeah, it's still possible, even with 14 now. But since they're not making any shot from distance, they need to get a lot to the foul line.

Woke up too late, but they would'nt have deserved it anyways. Now the loss against Serbia really hurts. Do or die tomorrow against Italy.

Losing vs. a 4/30 shooting Serbia really sucked, this was our best chance by far to steal a game vs a strong opponent.
