Agreed. Can someone post a synopsis of what this swindler fed Esquire? No way in hell I'm contributing to their click count.
I'm sure Royce's plan all along was to milk and extort whichever team drafted him for a few years and then go use the money to promote his "cause" (his cause being self-aggrandizement).
Lol. The difference is that despite DeRozan's and Love's mental issues they have gone on to be NBA All-stars. I'm not trying to belittle whatever issues Royce has, but man, he has to understand he's not entitled to an NBA roster spot any more than a kid who is born without arms is. The Rockets gave him a shot, he failed. Even if you ignore all the issues with his travel, the guy was mediocre in the Dleague.
Recently I worked with an employee with mental health issues. It was no joke. The guy was very smart, kind and capable, I thought I found my ideal employee and even a potential business partner. Then one day, he lost his cool over some trivial matter and completely blew up. After that, it became a common occurrence at work place. One second he was fine, the next second he would just lose it and go crazy. I tried to help and accommodate him to no avail, and had to let him go in the end. After this experience, I am a lot more empathetic toward both Royce White and the Rockets organization. For someone like Royce White, you simply cannot judge him through normal lens. It then became a very difficult thing to work with guys like that. Royce White had God-given basketball talent, and was owed millions of dollars in guaranteed contracts, the Rockets still couldn't work with him. I can only imagine how tough it is for a normal guy trying to get/hold a 9-to-5 job.
at this point i don't even believe white has any mental issues, cept that he's a thief. and the only thing he did with regard to mental issues is giving it a bad name. so yeah, he's worthless.
