Everybody remember "Welcome to Hell, Houston"? Looks like he's stuck there for a while

funny how ESPN says no to tweeting unless it serves ESPN

then goes and copies a Yahoo Sports tweet about the Roy extension and puts it up as an article

at least it gave credit to Yahoo

Brandon Roy is this franchise savior. Get him Morey. Do everything you can. Trade Yao, Trade Tmac, trade the whole team if you have to. Brandon Roy will change the face of this team.

The more I think about it, 2010 free agency will be dead boring, probably the worst season. Lebron, sign yours now. Wade sign yours tomorrow, so we can all stop dreaming.

The max is 82 but with the salary cap set to go down (supposedly 5-10%) next year this is essentially a max contract

Its 4+option so he'll be 29-30 and should be able to still demand a close to max contract. They lucked out that he wasnt so greedy and was satisfied with ~16M.

It has never been a sure thing to able to sign the top free agents next year. Too many factors to consider before even getting a chance to snag one of the big names. This is why it is a huge gamble to wait for next year and rebuild.
