And here's something I put together yesterday. It shows the top 100 4th quarter per-minute scorers, highlighting reserves and label size scaled based on fourth-quarter minutes played. Y-axis is 4th quarter points scored per 36-minutes, X-axis is 4th quarter TS% (i.e., scoring efficiency). (note: Alando Tucker, if you're wondering, is mainly a garbage-time player who plays during the frequent Suns blowouts).

Also, amongst reserves who've played significant minutes in at least 10 games off the bench (highlighting some of the mentioned 6th-man candidates). Landry excel according to the boxscore. Both in terms of total contribution ("win shares"), and per-minute productivity (PER):

Wow, didn't know Landry was that efficient in the 4th.

    Good read.

Lol @ everyone keep saying we need a superstar so we can have someone to "go-to" in the fourth.

Tsk tsk. Considering we have done a fair amount of fourth quarter scoring/defense by committee, we still have the league leader in PPG in the fourth on the highest FG%. That's impressive.

I have been a fan of Landry before he has gotten to the NBA and knew he was going to be a solid NBA player; but, I did not expect him the be so clutch. I think I have a man crush. ;o

Landry is so good that nobody even talks about his fivehead anymore.

I hope his productivity will stay the same even after teams in the league had enough time to scout him (by all star weekend) and prepare defensive plans to stop him (definitely in the play-off).

    Thanks for the information.

Funny to note that Artest in LA is all of a sudden Defensive player of the year material while with us he was just average. Also many Rockets were mentioned as runner-ups:
    - Adelman as Coach of the Year
    - Brooks and Landry as Most Improved of the Year
    - Battier as Defensive player of the Year

I like to compare our team to a pool of role players, like Blazers are a pool of youth, we just create some super stud role players (though landry could be more than that).

Damn, he's now first in 4th quarter PPG? That's insane.
