Those lineup would be solid for the Magic and Lakers. Rockets get soft ass Pau to pair with Lowry and whom ever is left? No thank you.

Just trade for Dwight. Geez. Not like we don't have the assets to make it happen.

Nah, Houston will pass on the superstars. :p

Here LA, here's CP3. Here LA, here's Dwight. You want Deron too? Fine, here.

I might be willing to do that trade. PatPat can fill in for Scola, Flynn for Dragon, Lee for Martin & Bud for Parsons. We then bring Morris back from the Vipers. Next year, DMo & Lull arrive from overseas plus our draft picks. The 09's are gone either for cap space or another piece. Not bad IMO.

Remove Chandler Parsons and maybe I would entertain it...

Would this give us more cap flexibility to possibly go after another player to play with Gasol?

    Lowry, Lee, Cbud/Morris, Gasol, Dalembert.

That could be a second round playoff team.

I just assumed it was his when I read it early. Just found out otherwise. He had to be in the same room though.

    No way EVER!

That trade is awful, we give the lakers a champion big man and handcuff ourselves financially for the upcoming free agent splurge.

I would love to have Pau but the price is way to high...no thank you.

So, conventional wisdom says that DM the GM has eyes only for GaaaaSol? I wonder if DM the GM lusts as 'all' think or if the lust was only if PG had been rated with Nene?

If Gasol then where does Luis land?

If Gasol then just how much better is this Rox team?

    1) Dwight doesn't want to come here.

    2) we don't have a player like Bynum that the Magic would want in return.

Better chance to get Scola to Phx in X-change for Lopez.

Can we change the title....horrible trade, mainly because you give LA the title.

With this we would be 12 Million under the hard cap, would we be able to use it to go after someone like Granger?

He never said this. He hasn't ruled out Houston.

Is Bynum actually that appealing? He's battled a lot of injuries and he's pretty expensive. We have a ton of assets to offer, hell, Lowry might even be the better player, even if he's not he's on a better contract and he's not much worse.

I think some people on CF have just convinced themselves it's impossible to ever have a superstar and want the Rockets to suffer terrible losing seasons instead of getting better quickly.

    Tracy McGrady?

Sounds like you're always the village idiot and never the chief.

He said that the only team he'll resign for would be LA, Nets, Chicago, and Orlando. So yes he has essentially ruled us out.

Bynum is more appealing than Scola and Martin. Even with his injuries.

Lakers get three effin starters. No thanks. We would get the short end. We could do a lot better. Plus Pau ties up $18M for 3 years and no one would touch his contract in a trade.
