The Rocks have climbed up into Playoff contention at the #9 seed in the west as of now , But the east is so weak we are at #14

    • TITLE CONTENDERS

      1. 76ers (10-0) 3-0 1 Give us a reason to drop them; This week's game at Spurs might decide top spot

      2. Spurs (7-3) 2-1 4 Move up because Suns lost twice, Spurs beat No. 3 Jazz; Loss was forgivable, OT in Minnesota

      3. Suns (7-3) 1-2 2 If Kidd doesn't turn ball over NBA record-tying 14 times, Suns beat Knicks; Good win over Dallas

      4. Jazz (7-3) 2-2 3 Spurs loss is one thing, losing at home to Mavs, with Mailman lookin' bad, is another

      5. Lakers (7-4) 3-1 6 Honestly, you'd better get 'em now, as Lakers are too good to lose to Nuggets all season

      6. Kings (7-3) 1-1 7 Kings fans don't like being at No. 6, but win over Lakers might have made 'em No. 2

      7. Blazers (7-5) 2-2 5 Win in OT at Orlando was pretty, but can't erase brutal loss in Atlanta; Hawks would still be winless

      PLAYOFFS, BUT...

      8. Wolves (6-4) 3-0 10 Best thing about the Joe Smith saga is it's over; Wolves beat Spurs, now can forget him

      9. Mavs (8-4) 3-1 14 Win in Utah speaks volumes; What's Steve Nash doing getting 17 assists? Mavs still capable of all or nothing

      10. Heat (5-5) 2-2 8 Record is worse than Knicks, Nets, Cavs and Pacers, but Heat have some big wins (Blazers, Jazz, Hornets)

      11. Pacers (5-4) 1-2 9 Home loss to Warriors is very bad, but Knicks don't deserve better; they lost to Clippers

      12. Knicks (7-4) 2-2 11 Salvaged bad start to week with win in Phoenix, Knicks' first over team with winning record

      13. Hornets (6-6) 2-3 12 Took out frustration of underachieving against poor Raptors, winning by 36 ... on the road!

      14. Rockets (6-5) 3-0 18 Beat Hornets and Suns, and Francis still isn't at top of his game; Hakeem's looking a lot better

      15. Cavs (6-3) 1-2 16 Currently the East's No. 2 seed, now what does that say? Loss to reeling Bucks wasn't even close

      NOT GOOD ENOUGH

      16. Sonics (4-7) 2-1 17 Tinkering on verge of turning it around and self destructing; Does Westphal want to coach at this point?

      17. Magic (4-7) 0-3 13 Nice week, but they did lose to current Nos. 4, 6 and 7; If Hill returns soon, Magic will be fine

      18. Bucks (3-6) 2-1 20 Still not playing good ball; Tractor couldn't play here, but he's productive in Cleveland? Why is that?

      19. Raptors (5-5) 1-2 15 Reeling, and Keon Clark won't change that; You can't lose by 36 at home to anyone, ever

      20. Nets (6-4) 3-0 22 Beat Heat, Pacers and Clips by combined 8 points; Nets have always needed luck to go with talent

      21. Celtics (4-6) 2-2 21 Pitono doesn't have the horses, it's obvious; but Celts don't even try to play defense (Wiz get 109 twice, Philly 114)

      22. Nuggets (6-5) 3-1 24 Wins over Bulls, Grizz, blah, blah ... and Lakers! Yes, Nuggets can knock off good teams, but not consistently

      NOT GOOD AT ALL

      23. Pistons (4-7) 1-2 23 Smart Pistons take on Joe Smith, jeopardize offseason Chris Webber sweepstakes; Nice move

      24. Clippers (4-8) 2-2 26 Beat Knicks and barely lost to Sonics (by 3) and Nets (by 1); With Odom asserting himself, Clips win some

      25. Warriors (2-8) 1-2 25 They might drop to Bulls territory except for road win in Indy; Is this worst shooting team of all-time?

      26. Grizzlies (4-6) 0-3 19 From No. 18 to 26 in two weeks; We thought Grizz could be good, but we were wrong; They stink again

      JUST HORRIBLE

      27. Wiz (3-8) 1-2 27 Frankly, with Hawks and Bulls around, they can't drop lower; So far, Strickland looks rejuvenated

      28. Hawks (1-10) 1-3 29 They win! They win! (How must Portland feel?) Hawks still stink, but Bulls might stink worse

      29. Bulls (1-9) 0-4 28 Mark this down: Hawks-Bulls on Nov. 30, be there! Brand FG update: a Larry Hughes-like .372 [/list=a]

Not too bad. But I'd put us in front of Charlotte.

I'd also put us in front of the Hornets.

I most certainly would not put us ahead of Charlotte.

Even though we have a better record and beat them head to head... it would be as crazy as putting FSU ahead of Miami in college football... oops, that actually happened. [IMG]

It's very early, but this would mean the Bucks pick owed from the Collier/Pryzbilla trade would be a number 12 (if the Lotto Balls don't bounce too weirdly).
