    dont think so

he's playing on a crappy cavs team. 0 motivation to play well....still think he would be a perfect fit for the rockets.

Stretch 4 who can shoot the 3 + can defend the other teams best player

This is potentially uncharted territory for an NBA team.

Think about it: GM trades for a player with an expiring contract, ownership fires said GM, hires a new GM and now that guy wants to get something of value for said player yet that player can only be traded by himself.

If there was ever a time to trade pennies for a dollar, the time is now. Deng will likely get dealt for next to nothing if Cleveland decides to move him.

The Cavs are such a joke. If we're going all in this year (and I can't tell if we are) Deng would be the pickup to put us over the edge.

Alternatively, he's also a good move if we really are trading Parsons for Rondo. Although I don't know how long he'll hold up as a starter. He can probably still contribute steadily for years to come, but if he starts he'll probably break down (he's an intense player, plays for the GB national team, and has averaged close to 40 mpg).

A lot of people are saying that Deng can play stretch 4 and can hit the open three. He is shooting 31,6% from three this year. 32.2%(12-13)...36.7%(11-12) ... i see a trend here.

Injuries have obviously affected his game this past few seasons. First his hand now his Achilles.

That's the only thing I would worry about if we ever traded for him.

I would love him here. Trade Lin and fillers for him. He is an expiring contract. Give Chandler Bang Lin's money next year.

His 3 point shooting percentage varies proportional to the number of superstars on his team capable of playing.

Are you saying we could acquire Deng for a second round draft pick? Don't salaries have to match or something?

How ironic would it be if they trade Deng to Pacers for Bynum.

    If only.

Asik + Brewer gets it done. Not sure why they would do it, but it gets it done without affecting our rotation much.

Cavs already a mess with Kyrie and Dion. Then there's Jarett Jack. Now throw in Lin?

What a trainwreck. I'd still take him in Houston in a heartbeat.

    Asik / Lin / Brewer

    for

    Deng / Varejao

Would be a great trade for us.

Asik for Deng and 2nd round pick. Asik would make the Cavs a hell of a lot better, and they will probably make the playoffs in the East.
